Why is there a flood of Dishhome Fibernet ads on Facebook?

The social network Facebook is currently flooded with advertisements for Dishhome Fiber Net. Over the past few days, numerous pages resembling Dishhome have emerged, featuring various internet packages offered by the company.

While browsing Facebook, it is impossible to miss the abundance of Dishhome ads. This raises questions about the source of these advertisements and the reasons behind them. Instead of solely relying on Dishhome's official page, multiple pages bearing the Dishhome name are being utilized for advertising purposes.

Upon investigating this phenomenon, it becomes apparent that a "price war" or intense competition exists among internet service providers in Nepal's market. Dishhome has taken an aggressive stance, offering affordable packages compared to its competitors. In order to expand its market share, the company has adopted a unique commercial model.

Initially, Dishhome operated as a direct-to-home (DTH) service provider. However, with the convergence of technologies, the company ventured into the realm of internet services. During the expansion of its DTH services, Dishhome established a network comprising numerous dealers and hundreds of sub-dealers across the country.

Now, leveraging this existing network, Dishhome is mobilizing its dealers and sub-dealers to facilitate the expansion of internet services. The company has assigned the responsibility of internet connectivity to a separate vendor. To initiate the process, dealers and sub-dealers forward orders and requests for internet connections to the vendor through Dishhome.

Consequently, any dealer or sub-dealer associated with Dishhome can now accept orders for internet connections in any location covered by Dishhome fiber net throughout the country. The abundance of advertisements on social media, particularly Facebook, is a result of the individual efforts of these dealers and sub-dealers. Although the pages display Dishhome Fiber Net's logo and the company's website, the contact numbers provided belong to the respective dealers and sub-dealers.
